World Championship Fighting 7 – Results and Recap

On Saturday June 27 a crowd of 3,300 fans gathered at the Shriner’s Auditorium in Wilmington, MA. Everyone in attendance was treated to a night of fast paced action and witnessed first hand why Joe Cavallaro’s World Championship Fighting is the premier fighting organization in all of the Northeast.

The card served 14 entertaining bouts, any of which could have headlined the WCF’s 7th show.

World Championship Fighting 3 provides another knockout show (MMA-Extreme)

Boston, MA – Fans once again packed the Shriners Auditorium Friday night for the third installment of World Championship Fighting. The night was filled with action packed fights from start to finish and a special autograph session with UFC Fighters: Marcus “the Irish Hand Grenade” Davis, Kenny “KenFlo” Florian, Jorge “El Conquistador” Rivera, Joe “J-Lau” Lauzon, and Internet Legend Sean “The Gladiator” Gannon the only man to beat Kimbo Slice. The night’s action included UFC veteran Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon and Brendan Hoxie engaging in a battle that continuously saw Lauzon get the better of the exchanges. Not one for backing down, Hoxie displayed incredible resiliency and was able to endure the punishment being dished out by Lauzon. WCF’s Scott Rehm Following and Paving the Road (MMA Madness)

Contrary to the ridiculously abused cliche, you can teach old dogs new tricks.

Take Scott Rehm.

At the age of 42, he is constantly learning new things, while teaching at his gym.

That’s not to say that Rehm does not pick up advice and tips from his fighters.

“I love teaching,” Rehm said. “I’m a far better trainer than a fighter. … The gym I teach at has up and comers. I love seeing these guys achieve, and get the goals they create, and that’s a huge bonus. Ferrer grabs WCF’s 135-pound title as MMA’s stars look on (Sports Illustrated)

WILMINGTON, Mass. — Stars from all over of the fight game were in attendance on Saturday night in the Shriners Auditorium. The likes of Mickey Ward, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Kenny Florian, Dan Lauzon and Marcus Davis were all present for WCF’s first ever title fight. WCF Ferrer, Dolce Win at WCF 6 (MMA on Tap)
